So we both finished it last night.. :: chokes on tea :: .. faakin 'ell.. *ahem* Anyway, as I was saying before I was so rudely interupted, She Who Shalt Not Be Named and I both finished the last ever Harry Potter book (*tear*) and I must admit it twas raaaaathaaa good! I had an idea who the big two deaths were.. actually I was pretty certain who was gonna die.. and J.K. didn't disappoint.. well, kind of.. she did loose her grip on her iron clad balls at the end but meeeh, what did I expect? The ending was toooooooootally predictable tho.. like, the end end.. The last wee bit..

Tbh I was getting a bit bored of the books after struggling through the Order of the Pheonix. I couldn't get over how annoyingly bad the start of the book was that it ruined the rest of it for me. I know she was turning him into a difficult, resentful teenager but fucking hell, you didn't have to make him into an whiney, snivelling, sulky, annoying little knob jockey.. Overkill.. But I dunno what it was after that, the excitement wasn't there anymore.. I dunno if I'd just kinda outgrown the story or that it took so fucking long for her to write it that I got bored with the hype.. or maybe it was the fact that all of a sudden she took out the hacksaw and started killing all round her.. no need love. Or maybe, now that I think of it, it was because when the books started, I was the same age as Harry.. I could empathise more.. I felt more involved.. I was just starting secondary school, making the transition.. who knows.

I've totally gone off course.. oh well, let us digress some more shall we? The films.. or the actors should I say.. since I found this in my search for the book pic.. Daniel Radcliffe. Now bare (ho ho) with me here.. I know you really don't give a shit about him, but I have a point to make.. AND I've thrown some semi naked lady in there for you as well for good measure..

By the by, does anyone know who does the cover art for the kiddy books? Is it the same dude that does it for Terry Prachett's Discworld series?

EDIT: Ok ok, the more I look at these Equus pictures, the better I think he looks.. Not body wise coz he's still scrawny and amazingly hairy, but his face.. He doesn't look so much like a manchild anymore, he actually looks pretty good... maybe it's the hair.. hava gander
