A long time coming..

Yes that's right, we're only getting round to the 8 random facts thing now. It's all good, we're only a month late.. but you know, we were kinda busy when it all happened so be a dear and forgive us for our tardiness (hehe, I love that word!). We were gonna be one of the cool kids and podcast about it, but 1. We're lazy, and 2. We only had each other for 3 weeks so there was kinda always better things to do! So here we go:

Ze ruuules:

1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.

6. This isn't really a rule but I, caT, shall be in blue and the little lady shall be in green.

1. For someone so completely unorganised, I have a wierd obsession with DVD's and CD's having to be in some kind of order. CD's must be arranged alphabetically, while DVD's must be arranged by colour while boxed but alphabetically if in a carry case (I tried alphabetised when boxed and it just looked so ugly that I changed to colour). Don't ask why, there is absolutely no reason behind it, it just must be! I get antsy otherwise.. I even rearranged all Paradox's DVD's when I was there.. don't judge me, it's an illness. I also have a weird anal thing with sandwich making but lets not get into that.

Whenever I stay somewhere that isn't my house, I spend a great deal of time evaluating the building I'm in to see how it can withstand against a massive zombie attack. It's something I've always done since I've seen Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" ...some people *cough* cat *cough* say I'm a little too obsessed with zombies since they aren't real...but then I just obsess about flaws in different zombie movies (like the Dawn of the Dead remake) and then think about where I would go in case I had time to prepare in the event of the world gone zombie...i even think about who i'd want to take with me...(i may have kept Cat up a couple nights talking about all of this)

2. I am exactly 10mins late for everything. Without fail. So if I'm ever going anywhere with you, tell me to be there 10mins before the actual time and everything will be as sweet as a beet (beat? Never actually had to write that phrase before so I dunno which spelling it is, or even wtf it's comparing it to... Mwiko??)

I may be a bit of a slob, but I am a complete germophobe. I can't handle people wearing shoes while lying in bed (cat knows this..its like the first thing i told her to take off the first time she got into our bed)...it even mildly bothers me when people wear their street clothes in bed.. I don't really know why it gets to me so much...It may be something my parents instilled in me when I was a kid..

3. I am so not a morning person. Waking up pains me. It's my biggest failure. I used to be good when I was at school coz you know I kinda had to get up, but as soon as the freedom of university swung around mornings were a thing of the past. Well.. I saw them when I was going to bed, but that doesn't really count. It's kind of easier when there's someone else there to kick you out of it, but I'm still Miss Groggypants till I get me some tea. Ahh tea..

Even though I am a slob and very irresponsible, I have a very neat and systematical filing system for all my paperwork. I can find reciepts and bank records from over 5 years ago in less than a minute. That's why my family put me in charge of all important documents and such..

4. I am in love with showers. They're the best things since sliced bread. They are my cureall. If I'm stressed, I have a shower. If I have the mother of all headaches, I have a shower. If I smell like a french tramp, I have a shower. They're magical!

Jewelry stores stress me out. I don't know what it is about them, but I get very hot, sweaty, grumpy and irritable. It's horrible..I don't know what it is about jewelry stores...but every time I step into one..its like something takes over me and pisses me off. In fact, even thinking about going to a jewelry store is starting to stress me out. It takes a while for me to calm down...and sometimes I don't calm down and I'm pissed the rest of the day.

5. I hate shopping. I hate shoppers. I hate crowds. I hate people. But most of all I hate having to look through things to find something. Especially rails.. that stresses me the fuck out. TKMaxx (has all name brands for cheap) scares me. It's all rails.. Row upon row or them.. I've never been in the shop, the sight alone freaks me out. This is why I love having a gf that picks things out for me. She's AWESOME! :D

I own power tools...and I use them. Yeah that's right...I have all the fun stuff, and I'm the person my family comes to when it comes to our home renovation projects. I'm the one in charge of cutting all the wood, building shelves, cabinets, even installing our garage door...you name it. But I don't own a toolbelt.

6. I love having the house to myself. People kind of annoy me.. especially when they're my family. My mother doesn't understand this coz she's Needy McNeederson and freaks out when she doesn't have company (something I think shes passed onto the dog coz he's even worse than her), but I love it! I can do whatever the fuck I want, and better still, I can do it in peace.

I have a fascination with backpacks. Whenever I go shopping, I always keep a lookout for any cool backpacks. I think I probably own 30 backpacks...and those are the ones that I've kept after giving about 20 to different charities that help under privileged kids get school supplies for the year.

7. I am a self conscious pee'er. When in a public bathroom, I have to pee 'quietly'. Even hearing other people pee makes me uncomfortable. I don't know why, I think it's coz I'm generally a very self conscious person.. I'm getting better though, my trip to Canadia has cured me slightly.

When I was a kid, I had the rep as the "boy bully". I got suspended a bunch of times for defending a bunch of my girl friends from boys who bullied them. I remember making them run away and cry after I hit em in the face for calling a friend "stupid". I think that may have been a sign for my parents lol.

8. I wish I could speak another language. It's not quite as fun or practical when you have to make up your own language just so you can talk about people in their presence. Plus, Faux Irish was quite tricky.

Unlike my lovely girlfriend, I speak 4 languages, one of them including English. I speak 3 different dialects of Filipino; Tagalog, Ibanag and Illocano. Funny thing I was born in Canada..my parents figured I just picked it up in the womb, because as soon as I could speak, I was responding to my parents in those languages. So I guess you could say English is my second language.
